Delta Industries Laminated Hickory/Pecan Press Pit Panels are constructed by face laminating dressed Hickory/Pecan lumber.  The individual pieces making up the panel are kiln dried to 6% to 8% moisture content and will be 4/4 to 8/4 (1 inch to 2 inch) thick.
Individual pieces making up the panel will be face laminated using Urea Resin type adhesive under pressure by machine methods.
Panels will be reinforced with two (2) 1/2 inch diameter steel, through bolts perpendicular to the span.  Hex nuts and washers are countersunk into the edge of the panel.
After adequate setting time, the panels will be machined to the following tolerances:

• Length:      (+/-) 1/32 inch.

• Width:       (+/-) 1/16 inch.

• Thickness:  (+/-) 1/32 inch.

No surface glue residue.
Panels finish sanded.
Panels will be treated per customer request or:

• Urethane coated

• Clear (2%) Zinc naphthenate Wood Preservative

• Black Gilsonite preservative
