CATCH BASINS
The Polycast Catch Basins are an important part of the versatile Polycast
Presloped Drain System. The Catch Basins are manufactured with the same high
strength, corrosion resistant Polyester and Vinyl Ester polymer concrete used
for the Polycast Drain Channels. They are designed to be used as collection
points, drain run transitions and interceptors to collect solid debris.
Catch Basin capacity ranges from 11 gallons to 46 gallons. They are available
for the 600 and 700 Series Drain Systems. 700 Series HARDNOSE Catch Basins are
also available.
The Polycast Catch Basins can be used either with the Polycast Drain System
or as an individual catch basin. Either way, costly labor-intensive on-site
forming is eliminated.
650 Catch Basin
The 650 catch basin has an 11-gallon
capacity. Drain channel knockout connections are located on both ends of
the catch basin. Pipe discharge knockouts for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12-inch pipe are
located on both sides. On one side, the pipe knockouts are located near the bottom of the catch basin
and on the other side, the pipe knockouts are located toward the middle.
There is also one 4-inch pipe knockout on each end and one 4 and 6-inch pipe
knockout on the bottom. The 650 catch basin is available with any of the
gratings/covers available for the 600 Series channels.

651 Catch Basin
The 651 catch basin has a 23-gallon capacity.
Drain channel knockout connections are located on both ends and sides of
the catch basin. The 651 catch basin is available with cast iron
or fiberglass grates and solid cast iron or polymer covers. Pipe
discharge knockouts for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12-inch pipes are located on both
sides. On
one side, the pipe knockouts are located near the bottom of the catch
basin and on the other side, the pipe knockouts are located toward the
middle. There are also 4 and 6-inch pipe knockouts on each end and
one on the bottom.

653 Catch Basin
The 653 catch basin is the stackable Polycast catch basin with a 46-gallon capacity
per basin (92-gallon capacity when two basins are stacked). Drain channel
knockout connections are located on both ends of the catch
basins. The 653 catch basin is available with cast iron or
fiberglass grates. Pipe
discharge knockouts for 4, 6, and 8-inch pipes are located on both
sides. The pipe knockouts are located near the bottom of the catch
basin. There are also 4, 6, and 8-inch pipe knockouts on each end.
